2.6.2 Line Segment Tool

✅ The Meissa platform uses drone data to check the cross-sectional information of the desired section in real-time, enabling precise on-site inspection with an error of less than 2cm in the x, y, and z axes and 6cm in the z-axis. You can also check the construction progress and errors compared to the planned elevation, saving time and money.

▎Add a line segment

① Clicking the Add New button will give you the option to add a line segment, and you can also use the line segment icon on the right to create a line segment. You can use the New Folder feature to create a folder to manage your line segments.

② Add vertices with the left mouse button, and press the right mouse button or ESC key to finish creating the line segment. You can add vertices as many times as you want until you finish creating the line segment.

▎Checking line segment information

① You can enter or edit the line segment's name and description, and see the date it was created.

② You can change it to any colour by clicking on the colour.

③ You can see the coordinate system, coordinate value, and total length of the line segment for each vertex, and when you change the coordinate value, the vertex moves to that location.

④ You can see the length of the drawn line segment, and click the Length pop-up to jump to that segment.

⑤ You can delete a line segment by tapping the trash can icon.

⑥ You can click the checkbox to show or hide the line segments on the screen.

▎Comparing cross-sectional graphs

① Enabling the cross-section graph allows you to see a cross-sectional graph and compare the progress of your construction.

② The section currently displayed is the same as the field date in the top centre of the screen. You can switch the cross section on or off by clicking the eyeball icon.

③ You can view the status of a line segment on a specific date.

④ If you have uploaded a plan elevation, you can see the plan lines for the line segment.

⑤ If you have uploaded a stratigraphy, you can see the stratigraphy of the line segment.

⑥ When you hover over the graph, you can see the distance from the start of the line segment and the elevation of that point.

⑦ You can download the active graph as a drawing.

▎Managing segment tool data integration

① You can navigate to the 'Manage line segment integrations' tab via the Manage integrations button.

② Click the Select button to delete line segments in bulk.

③ Enabling the slide button adds it to the line segment menu while disabling it removes it from the line segment menu.

④ Line segments created on the reference date are automatically unlinked on other dates.
